Fr : Le célèbre contrebassiste de jazz sera ce dimanche 20 janvier en concert à Dinant pour présenter son nouvel album “Shifted“. Son quartet va inaugurer le nouveau lieu du club Dinant Jazz.
Sal La Rocca a fait le contrebassiste pour tout le monde : Vaya Con Dios, Toots Thielemans, Steve Grossman, Harold Land, Philip Catherine, Lee Konitz, Denise King… cette fois, le “sideman” vient à Dinant en leader de quartet. Un tout nouveau projet composé paritairement de musiciens wallons et flamands qui a accouché en novembre 2018 de l’album “Shifted”. Et selon la presse spécialisée, le troisième opus de Sal La Rocca est une grande réussite.
Accompagné de Jeroen Van Herzeele (saxophone), Pascal Mohy (piano/Würlitzer) et Lieven Venken, Sal La Rocca va donc inaugurer le nouveau site de concerts du Dinant Jazz. Après deux années passées au Castel de Pont-à-Lesse, le club déménage vers la salle des Grands Champs de Gemechenne. Le Quartet de Sal La Rocca vous y donne rendez-vous ce dimanche 20 janvier 2019 à 17h.
