The Project (EN)
In 2019, the group was formed to celebrate the anniversary of the Heptone (a jazz club in Ittre). It’s a celebration in itself! This wonderful ensemble of seven jazz musicians offers varied and eclectic music, arranged for multi-instrumentalist wind instruments and a rhythm section. They explore a wide range of genres and tonal combinations. The program includes original compositions, pop/rock standards, and revisited jazz. It’s a family affair with Olivier and his nephew Eliott, 30 years younger! A great connection between the musicians, some of whom have been friends for 30 years! Their music conveys joy, positive energy, and good vibes! See you at the Gaume Jazz Festival 2025!

En 2019, c’est à l’occasion de l’anniversaire de l’Heptone (club de jazz à Ittre) que se forme le groupe. En soi, il annonce déjà la fête! Cette belle brochette de 7 jazzmen propose une musique variée et éclectique, arrangée pour souffleurs multi-instrumentistes et section rythmique. Ils explorent une palette très large de genres et de combinaisons de timbres. Au programme : compositions originales, standards pop/rock et jazz re-visités. C’est une histoire de famille avec Olivier et son neveu Eliott, 30 ans plus jeune ! Une grande connivence entre les musiciens, des amis de 30 ans pour certains ! Leur musique communique le plaisir, l’énergie positive, les bonnes vibrations ! À voir au Gaume Jazz Festival 2025 !

About Gaume Jazz Festival
The main part of the event takes place in the beautiful park of Rossignol (Tintigny, south of Belgium) on 9th, 10th and 11th August 2024, on 5 different scenes. We’ve selected about 120 musicians to offer a wide-ranged style of jazz, from renowned artists to new talents and surprising projects… It’s an incredibly jazzy and family weekend where local products meet music and nature. A dozen of concerts are planned around the festival, from Sunday 28th July until Monday 12th August in various places of Gaume, which are remarkable locations to taste local products or discover traces of our past… In parallel, a team of professional musicians is holding an internship for any musician (12 years old and older) who would like to try out or perfect their jazz vibes during an immersive week in Virton, from Sunday 4th until Sunday 11th August, before playing on the Gaume Jazz Festival’s stage !
Our advice is to choose the complete experience by booking a hotel, B&B or camping nearby, and get ready to discover Gaume and jazz with the summer vibes !
