About Jazz Station

Twenty years and still standing
From day one, the Jazz Station has been a place of cultural resistance. Against uniformity, against invisible walls, against the idea that jazz is reserved for a privileged few. Here, we believe in the power of music to shake up certainties, open new horizons, and bring humanity back into our daily lives. Here, jazz is not a museum: it’s a weapon, a celebration, a cry from the heart. We stand for diversity, experimentation, the freedom to be and to create. Our stage is open, and our values are strong. Here, jazz is alive, free, and rebellious. Here, every note breaks through. For 20 years, we have shown that art can be both a tool for social struggle and a space for celebration. That inclusion is not just a slogan, but a constant effort. That the diversity of voices, genders, bodies, and origins is the true wealth of an artistic scene.
Now more than ever, we say it loud and clear: culture is not a luxury, it’s a fundamental right. It is not sold to the highest bidder — it is shared, passed on, and lived. 20 years is not an anniversary. It’s a promise: to keep opening our doors, our hearts, and our ears. To build bridges where others build walls. To make visible what is too often hidden. Jazz Station is 20 years of live music, 20 years of struggle, 20 years of love: together, let’s make the future a playground.
