About
EN : A brand-new quartet led by double bassist Sal La Rocca. Passionate about building strong bridges between generations of musicians, Sal has chosen exceptionally young talents based in Belgium, and for this project he has crafted a fresh set of original compositions — a clear statement that mixing generations can lead to truly remarkable results.
FR : Un tout nouveau quartet formé par le contrebassiste Sal La Rocca. Ayant l’ardent plaisir de tisser des liens forts entre différentes générations de musiciens, Sal a choisi de très jeunes talents vivant en Belgique, et pour cette occasion il constitue un nouveau répertoire de compositions originales, prouvant par ce choix que le mélange générationnel peut générer de superbes résultats.
NL : Een gloednieuw kwartet onder leiding van contrabassist Sal La Rocca. Met het plezier en de overtuiging om sterke banden te smeden tussen verschillende generaties muzikanten, koos Sal voor zeer jonge talenten die in België wonen. Voor deze gelegenheid creëerde hij een nieuw repertoire met originele composities — een mooi bewijs dat een mix van generaties tot schitterende resultaten kan leiden.
