About Bob Mover : Born on March 22, 1952 in Boston, Massachusetts, Bob Mover started playing the saxophone at 13 years of age. Bob has attracted generations of listeners with his versatility emotional depth and technical command on sax. Bob Mover has also cultivated a sound and style as a vocalist. Played with such emblems as Roy Eldridge, Wynton Kelly, Zoot Sims, Kenny Dorham, James Moody, Jimmy Rushing, Anita O’Day and others. At the same time, Bob was inspired by Lee Konitz and Sonny Rollins as well as numerous contemporaries among them – Brecker, Scofield…and the late Jaco Pastorius.
