ABOUT KARI ANTILA : Born in Laitila, Finland, Kari started studying classical piano at the age of 7. At the age of 12, he got his first guitar, and since then started to concentrate on playing guitar. Kari was autodidact until the age of 23, when he entered in Pop/Jazz Conservatory in Helsinki, Finland.  Later Kari continued on a degree program of pop/jazz music pedagogue in Stadia, Helsinki, Finland. In Stadia Kari studied with a well-known Finnish jazz guitar player Pekka Luukka.
ABOUT PETER HERTMANS : He is a self-taught jazz guitar player. He’s played with Janice Lakers, Phil Abraham, Jean-Louis Rassinfosse, Bert Joris, John Ruocco, Dave Pike, Slide Hampton, Philip Catherine, Toots Thielemans…Leads his own groups with John Ruocco (CD “Waiting” with also Billy HART) or “ODE FOR JOE”. Peter Hertmans teaches guitar, ensemble and musical theory at the Royal Brussels Conservatory and at the Lemmens Instituut in Leuven.
