A prolific musician, after two critically acclaimed trio albums and a quartet album based on the music of Thelonious Monk, Vincent Thekal offers a return to his first loves with a repertoire tailored for the occasion. A concert not to be missed, with this quintet composed of the best of Belgian and European jazz for an evening dedicated to swing!

Musicien prolifique, après deux albums en trio et un album en quartet autour de la musique de Thelonious Monk salués par la critique, Vincent Thekal propose un retour à ses premiers amours autour d’un répertoire taillé pour l’occasion. Un concert à ne pas manquer, avec ce quintet composé de la fine fleur du jazz belge et européen pour une soirée sous le signe du swing !
NL : Saxofonist Vincent Thekal zet de bakens uit bij verschillende bands. Hij is een muzikant met een brede horizon en een sterke persoonlijkheid en gaat aldoor op zoek naar nieuwe avonturen. Hij is ook productief: na twee albums met een trio en een album met een kwartet rond de muziek van Thelonious Monk die goed onthaald werden, keert hij nu terug naar zijn eerste liefde en brengt hij een repertoire dat hij speciaal voor deze gelegenheid heeft samengesteld. Dit kwintet, dat bestaat uit de fine fleur van de Belgische en Europese jazz, staat garant voor een niet te missen concert en een avond die helemaal in het teken van de swing staat.
